Hello everyone!

for a while at present my laptop won't permit me upload anything to the internet.
I have used dissimilar computers and it works for them so information technology can't exist my WIFI.

This is really annoying, Please help!

Hi Patrick,

Could y'all explain a picayune more than about the problem please? When practice yous have problems uploading files - are you using a specific app or website (for example, dropbox)? Are at that place any errors?

information technology happens on every website i endeavour to upload onto. the problem happens at the site, whatsoever link i click to upload just doesn't work doesn't even get to my files.

i have already tried disabling any proxy server i utilise but that doesn't help either.

I have windows defender and malware bytes
I've done scans with both and they've shown no threats

What and where exactly are you doing this. Since you mention specifically "internet" and then is the problem only related to web based sites?
Can you upload / download files from other network nodes on your local LAN?

I have used different computers and it works for them so it can't be my WIFI.

Are you getting any error letters?
What happens when you try?

I'm simply doing this on my personal laptop on my habitation WiFi
Tin't upload or download any files on the Internet only tin still access stuff on my Dropbox account.
Files like photos, videos or music
What are network nodes?
Don't get any error letters at all, goose egg happens at all.

The only way that my other computers are connected or interact is through accessing my Dropbox files

And so install Chrome and so install the Gdrive app for Windows 10.
Then open your gdrive in Chrome browser, open you pictures or music folder pick a picture or a song and drop information technology on the Gdrive which you have open in your Chrome Browser.

I already have chrome equally my principal browser. tried to add together a file to the Gdrive merely it didn't piece of work, over again no error message

I tried adding a new file to my dropbox from another computer and my laptop downloaded that.
so information technology does seem to be web based sites

Then if you drop that aforementioned file in your Gdrive local folder on your reckoner and give it a infinitesimal or 2 and check your Gdrive on the web?? The file is there??

don't accept a Gdrive local binder and can't get it as i tin can't download annihilation...
but its the same thing as dropbox and so i added a file from my laptop to my dropbox and and so I was able to access the file from the dropbox website

Ok i rebooted in safe mode with networking and i tin can download and upload stuff.
just has that fixed the problem or will i have to stay in condom mode?

That would indicate that in that location is a slice of software running in normal mode that is not running is safe mode that is causing your trouble.
Test again in normal mode to ostend that the trouble still persists then.

Ok think i'm in normal mode and can download and upload once again.

should also say that once in safe mode windows started downloading loads of updates so could this have been the trouble?
